Today, John Martinez was going to conquer one of the greatest challenges in mountain climbing. He was going to climb Mount Everest. It was going to take him more than three weeks to get to the top. To prepare he has to get firewood, a lot of matches, a jacket with a warm inside, water, and a lot of food. He also needs a tent that keeps heat inside of it. He will be climbing a mountain that many have tried to, but not all have succeeded. He is determined to get to the top, but the problem is, the mountain is so high, that when you reach the top, or get near the top, the temperature is lower than -20 degrees, so if he doesn't keep moving, he will get frostbite, and wont be able to continue.

John thought, " I can't stop now. I can't back down." So with that thought, he pushed himself all that he could go.When John was half way there, he got so tired he fell asleep. Three hours later, when he woke up, he found a cat on his stomach. "Oh my-'' but before he could finish his sentence the cat started speaking spanish. Then, the cat took him by the hand and told him to follow him. They were going on an adventure.

John was wondering why a strange Spanish-speaking cat was taking him somewhere random. When all of a sudden the Spanish cat hissed when a creature called a yeti approached. The yeti opened his wide jaw looking like he was getting ready to attack John when the yeti said "Hi! My name is Jerry..... can I join your adventure?" Well, the cat could not speak English so John said "Sure, I already have a Spanish cat taking me somewhere, so why not"
Now John is going on an adventure with a Mexican cat and a yeti named Jerry.

So Jerry let John and the Spanish Cat climb on his back and he started climbing up Mount Everest. As the yeti was climbing, a Snow Leopard that spoke Italian jumped in their path. Luckily Jerry spoke Italian. He said the leopard was a guardian of Mt. Everest and would not let them pass unless they could pass a single test. The test was to find a way past a solid ice wall. The ice was so hard that not even a jackhammer could break it. John, the cat and Jerry decided to use the big rocks nearby. They pushed the rocks to make a crude set of stairs to get to the top of the wall, and they jumped down the 8 foot drop. The snow leopard spoke to Jerry, and Jerry said the leopard wanted to join them. John told Jerry to tell the leopard that he could join them. The leopard told them the top was only a few hundred feet up. The leopard let the cat get on his back and John got on Jerry's back and they brought them to the top of the mountain. There John put an American Flag with a Yeti, a snow leopard, and a Spanish Cat on it.
